Welcome to the Compliance Cohort, where we offer quite a few free bank compliance training videos. The Compliance Cohort is an online educational site where we provide free articles and short training videos (known as Compliance Clips) on all topics of regulatory compliance. Below, you will find a number of our free Compliance Clips (compliance training videos) on a variety of banking compliance topics. The training videos below are just a few of the recent resources our basic (free) members have access to. When you sign up for free membership, you can easily search for all of our compliance training videos (webinars) and articles on the “membership dashboard” page.
We have designed the Compliance Cohort as a resource for compliance professionals in banks, credit unions, mortgage companies, and any of the other trenches where compliance folks dwell. Specific to our compliance training videos, there are a couple of things you should know. First, our Compliance Clips are designed to be short and easy-to-understand, typically 3-5 minutes in length. In making these quick and easy-to-understand video clips, we have chosen to take a "virtual classroom" approach to our training where each video and webinar we publish includes both a visual of the instructor as well as slides that help lead you through the topic we are discussing. The idea is to bring the feel of a live seminar to your office or wherever you are at.
In addition to our free bank compliance training videos (Compliance Clips), we have written many different comprehensive articles that go into great detail on all aspects of banking compliance. In writing these articles, we do our best to use simple to understand layman’s terms to explain some extremely complex and challenging topics. Our free membership allows members to search for and view our comprehensive (and free) articles.
Finally, our free membership includes links to a number of resources. like banking regulations. Our Banking Regulations List and Links page directs our members to the actual rules on most banking regulations. In addition to this, a weekly email summary of new articles and videos is sent to each free member and will generally include any new free resources we become aware of, such as free banking webinars (like those that are often hosted by the Federal Reserve or CFPB.

We feel that our premium training videos (Compliance Classes) are unique in a number of ways. First, each video is presented in our “virtual classroom” approach where an instructor is seen presenting in front of a slide presentation - just like you would experience at a live seminar. The idea here is to bring the classroom to your office. Secondly, each of our training presentations (whether short or long) utilize our 3E approach to training: to Educate, to Empower, and to Entertain. We have found that this strategic combination not only makes learning more enjoyable, but it also helps the attendee with comprehension of the topic in hand. For that reason, don’t be surprised when our instructors tell a relating story or even make you laugh (some of our members close their doors during our videos!).

First, members will be automatically enrolled to receive regular email summaries. Provided once a week, these updates will ensure members are up-to-date on the happenings going on at the Compliance Cohort. Our goal is to help keep members in the know of our recent postings as well as any compliance changes that take place.
Our "Compliance Clips" have proven to be the best benefit of Basic Membership. These short, on-demand (free) bank training videos provide an amazing value to members as they are presented in a "virtual classroom" approach that provides bite-sized learning. Members find this approach significantly helps with comprehension of the material being taught. Typically lasting 3 to 5 minutes, we present applicable topics as we see fit, but generally include existing regulations as well as a "heads up" on upcoming changes. While a few Compliance Clips are available to non-members, Basic Membership provides access to many more videos than what are available to the public. Access to our Compliance Clips is often cited as the main reason for becoming a new member.
The third benefit of our Basic Membership is a number of member-only articles. These articles are presented in a "layman's terms" approach where we do our best explain complex rules in a way that anyone could understand. While some articles are available to the public through our blog, members enjoy a number of articles available only through membership.
When logged into their dashboard, members have access to a "topic catalog" where articles and videos are organized by topic. This is beneficial for members who may only be responsible for a specific area of compliance such as lending compliance, deposit compliance, or BSA.
Another benefit of our free Basic Membership is that members get a variety of discounts and member-only offers. For example, our monthly Master Class (which is included with Premium Membership) normally sells for $349 each but is available to Basic Members at a discounted rate of $299 per class.
