On January 1, 2025, the CFPB opened the filing period for HMDA data collected in 2024. Submissions will be considered timely if received on or before March 3, 2025.

In line with this, the FFIEC has published a Quick Reference Guide on logging into the HMDA platform using Login.gov, which utilizes multifactor authentication (MFA). Users will no longer have the option to sign in using the existing process. The FFIEC has also provided HMDA Login.gov Frequently Asked Questions to aid users with the use of the new platform.
